We've been busy bees here at Pata, from events to working on features you've all been asking for. Well, the wait is over...


We have more exciting new features that will reduce admin even further and make running your business effortless, and we’re delighted to share that they’re now live!


1. Introducing Reporting

Get detailed reports on your appointments, and use our new advanced filtering (more on that below) for specific info. More reporting options coming soon! View our help page on appointment reporting for more details here.


2. Advanced filtering

Find the info you need in two shakes of a lambs tail with our new advanced table filtering available on Clients, Sales, Reviews and Reporting.


3. Custom notes on notifications

Have more information you need to share with a client? You can now add custom notes/messages on all your email appointment notifications. View our help page on how to add custom notes here

 

4. Booking time intervals options

Now you can choose the booking time interval on you online booking calendar, with 4 options to help you spread out your appointments in the day. You can read more on how to change this here.


5. Maximum Service duration increase

We've increased the maximum duration on services to 24 hours, handy for those who do for overnight boarding or home visits.


6. Flexibility on upfront payments

You now have the option to charge either a percentage or a flat fee for deposits and upfront payments. You can change this on the Manage Payment Protection section on the Payment Dashboard.


7. Calendar improvements

You can now change the view on the calendar to only display shift timesand we've updated the appointment tiles so it's easier to see appointment statuses:

  • Booked appointments will have a grey vertical stripe on the left of the tile
    • When the appointment status has changed to completed, it will turn green and the whole tile will be greyed out.
    • Likewise if the appointment status is changed to No-show, the vertical stripe will turn red, and the appointment will be greyed out.
    • All outstanding appointments will be left in full colour. 
  • We've also introduced icons which you can hover over to see the appointment status, and the sale no. if it's been checked out.


8. New Booking availability

You now have the option to make services available to either existing clients, new clients, or open to all. You can do this by going into the service catalogue, either add a new service or edit an existing one, and in the settings tab you'll see the booking availability dropdown.
