Can I set up slots for grooming?

Yes, using the booking availability on services, you can set up specific time slots so the service is only booked at that time.

Duration of the service and booking intervals will have an impact on this, so you'll need to set up accordingly.

The below is an example day of grooming, but please get in touch if you'd like help getting this set up.

Example:

All grooming services such as bath and blow dry, full groom. Open Monday - Friday 8:30am until 6pm 

4 slots a day at 8:30am for 3 hours, 11:30am for 1.5 hours, 2pm and 4pm for 2 hours.

This includes a 1 hour break for lunch.

1. Navigate to the Catalogue section by clicking on the Catalogue icon on the side menu
   
2. Select the service or create a new one
3. Click the Settings tab
4. Scroll down to the online booking section, and see Available Booking Period, and select Add Period
5. Click Weekly Recurring
   • Use the Days dropdown to select the days you want this service to be performed (you can multi-select this by selecting the dropdown again). 
     • In the above case, it will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
   • Select the start and end time
     • In the above case, Start time 8:30am and End time 11:30am
   • Click Add period again and you'll need to repeat the steps for the other times
     • Every weekday, Start time 11:30am and End time 1pm
     • Every weekday, Start time 2pm and End time 4pm
     • Every weekday, Start time 4pm and End time 6pm
6. Click Save

Please note: 
1. You'll need to check the duration of the appointment. If the service is only 1 hour, and you have a 2 hour slot, then 2 sessions will be available. You can avoid this by keeping the booking interval every 2 hours.
2. Take into account your booking interval - this can be changed at any time.
3. If a service doesn't have an allocated available booking period, it will be bookable in any free time slot.
