How do I set up group classes?

You can set up group classes using the available booking periods on service settings.

If you have different types of group classes e.g. adult obedience group class, puppy class, agility class then you will need to set up each class as an individual service. You may choose to group this under a "group class" category, or have each one as it's own category e.g. "Obedience training" and have group classes and 1-2-1 services under this.

Here's an example of how to set this up from scratch:

Adult Obedience class twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays at 6pm for 1 hour.

  1. Navigate to the Catalogue section by clicking on the Catalogue icon on the side menu
  2. Select Add on the top right and then Add Service Category - name this as needed, for example "group classes", then add a description
  3. Select Add again and then Add Service
  4. Give it a name and add a description, along with selecting the service category you just created from the dropdown, and the service type
  5. Click Next
  6. Add price options, duration, and the price. You also have the option to add block time before and after to make sure you have time to travel etc, so bookings don't overlap.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Select the location/workplace it is being held at and click Next
  9. Select the team member who runs the class and click Next
  10. Toggle on Allow Parallel Bookings and input the max number of bookings. Please note that this is per team member.
  11. Toggle on any of the other options that you feel is suitable.
  12. Scroll down to the online booking section, and see Available Booking Period, and select Add Period
  13. Click Weekly Recurring
    • Use the Days dropdown to select the days you want this service to be performed (you can multi-select this by selecting the dropdown again).
      • In the above case, it will be Tuesday and Thursday
    • Select the start and end time
      • In the above case, Start time 6pm and End time 7pm
    • Add a date range for courses or want this to end on a specific date
  14. Click Save
