Can I add products to my catalogue?

You can add Products to your catalogue similarly to how you can add services, and these can be added to an appointment sale, or sold on it's own in a sale.


You can add products on their own, or like with Services, you'll create a Product category, and then add the product. This could be for things like, treats, accessories, grooming products etc to help group the items.


To add a Product category:

  1. Navigate to the Catalogue section by clicking on the Catalogue icon on the side menu
  2. Select the Products tab
  3. On the Actions dropdown, select Add category
  4. Name the category, and optionally add a description
  5. Click Save


Once you've added the category, you can then add the product:

  1. Navigate to the Catalogue section by clicking on the Catalogue icon on the side menu
  2. Select the Products tab
  3. On the Actions dropdown, select Add product
  4. On the basic details, you'll need to add a Name. This is what will show on Pata and on the invoice/receipt.
    • You can also add a brand and give it a description, and if you've created categories, add this using the dropdown as well.
  5. Click Next
  6. Add the Price, and select the relevant Tax rate using the dropdown.
  7. Click Save
