How do I take upfront Payments?

Once you have enabled PataPay, you will receive upfront payments for any Marketplace bookings when you enable upfront payment protection. You can also send upfront payment links when you add an appointment to the Calendar yourself. The upfront payment amount will be whatever is configured on your PataPay upfront payment settings, otherwise it'll be the full amount.
To do this:
- Click on the Calendar icon on the side menu
- Add an appointment or find and click on an existing appointment
- Click Send Payment Link
- Confirm the Client's information, or amend as needed:
- First name
- Last name
- Mobile phone number
- Click Send
The Client will then receive a payment link via text message (SMS) and they can pay using their preferred payment method.
If the Client still hasn't paid, you can resend the payment link by following the first 2 steps above, and then click Resend Payment Link.
