How to get the most out of Pata Marketplace
Now that you're set up and using the system, the final step is to enable online bookings and let your Clients know!
Reduce your admin even further and leave bookings to us and your clients, so you can focus on the work and switch off in the evenings.
Enable online bookings
Listing your profile is quick and easy, and only takes a minute!
Simply click the Online Booking icon on the side menu:
And then on the Profile/Workplace you'd like to list, click on the Actions dropdown, and select List profile.
You'll then need to add some info, which you can check out how to add here.
Lastly, make sure you protect yourself and your business from no-shows and last minute cancellations, reducing them drastically with PataPay by enabling upfront payment protection.
Maximise your Pata Profile
Fab - you're online and ready to go, so let's tell your Clients about it! There are various ways you can direct your Clients (new and existing) to use your new and improved online booking, and we recommend doing them all to get the most out of it:
Add your Pata Profile link to your Social Media
- On Instagram:
- Go to your profile
- Tap Edit profile > select Links
- Tap Add external link
- Paste your Pata profile link
- On your Facebook business page
- Click Edit details
- Scroll to Websites
- Click on the pencil icon
- Add your Pata profile link
Use our pre-made social media images to announce online booking on social media
Download and use our pre-made images to:
- Share the link by creating a social media story and save it to Highlights (Instagram)
- When creating a Story, tap the Sticker icon
- Select Link and add your Pata profile link
- To save it as a Highlight, open the Story
- Tap Highlight below
We suggest naming it Book Now for better user experience
- Create an announcement post for online bookings availability via Instagram/Facebook and pin them
- Create the post sharing your Pata Profile link
- Tap the three horizontal dots in the top-right corner of the post
- Select Pin to grid
This keeps the post at the top of your feed, so it's always visible and won't get lost among your content
Include the link in Instagram & Facebook auto-replies (great for new clients)
If your Instagram is set up as a Business account, follow this quick tutorial that shows you how to set up automated replies. Pop in your Pata profile link and you'll no longer have endless messages from clients waiting to book in with you.
Add your Pata profile link to your website
If clients usually find you via your website, you can link directly to your Pata profile page by adding a clear Book Now button to your homepage. You can do this yourself or contact your website person to add it for you.
Bonus
In your captions, posts or emails, remind clients they can now book anytime, anywhere, with no need to call or wait for text message reply.
