How do I activate my Pata Card Reader?

Once you've received your Card Reader and you've connected it to the internet, you'll need to activate it to start taking payments.


To do this:

  1. Click on the Payments icon on the side menu
  2. On the PataPay Dashboard, or on the Terminal side menu, select Manage Card Reader
  3. Click the toggle to make the Card Reader Active. You'll then need to
    1. Give your Card Reader a name
    2. Select the Workplaces this Card Reader will be used
  4. Click Save


The Card Reader will then be ready to use and you can start taking payments!
